EUでは再生可能エネルギー方針として、ヤシ油の温室効果ガス排出に厳しい限度を定める
ことになり、ヤシ油を原料として使うことが難しくなりそうである。
シンガポールに年内稼動の予定でジーゼル工場を建設しているフィンランドの Neste は、マ
レーシア、インドネシアの農園とのヤシ油購入契約を破棄しなければならなくなる恐れがある。
